A more flexible stock rule
Keep these points in mind. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls. Relaxed Spider on yatoou.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs.
The relaxed difference
The following details apply here. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together. A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves.
Read the opening
Keep these points in mind. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals.
Descending rank placement
A few details help explain this feature. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement.
Move a group
A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later.
Use empty columns thoughtfully
Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card.
Stock deals are still shared
Here are the details for this mode. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available.
Collect matching runs
A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider.
Try another decision
A few details help explain this feature. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable. Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win.
